Independent inspection and testing
Post-Remediation Verification
Post-remediation verification is an independent check after a remediation contractor finishes work. PureAir does not perform the remediation, which keeps the verification separate from the company that did the work.

A clear, property-specific scope
The inspector starts with the property history and the reason for the visit. Accessible areas within the agreed scope are reviewed, relevant measurements are documented, and sampling is recommended only when it can answer a defined question.
- Property history and concern review
- Visual assessment of relevant accessible areas
- Clear findings and recommended next steps
What verification includes
The inspector reviews the remediation scope, visually checks the work area and containment, takes moisture readings, and collects samples when agreed criteria call for laboratory analysis.
Timing the visit
Verification is usually scheduled after remediation is complete and before containment is removed and finishes such as drywall are replaced. Ask your contractor when the area will be ready.
Common questions
Why use an independent company for verification?
An independent check avoids a conflict of interest, since the company verifying the work did not perform or sell the remediation.
